Our Autumn Yard
Auri came running in the other day with the exuberant shout of, "It's raining leaves!" When I looked outside I saw that she was right. With every breeze a new shower would fall. The children ran around jumping and squealing as they tried to catch leaves before they hit the ground. One thing I miss about the North is the different leaf colors, there is little variation down here. One thing I love about the South is that it's November and 78 degrees.
These children have never jumped in a leaf pile before.
But I'm thinking that today is their day.
